In 2008 Lend Lease initiated a transformation plan to embed the right guidelines, training tools, accountabilities and governance frameworks in how do we do business, wherever we do business around the world.

Be champions for safety and engage with our clients, partners and supply chain to align objectives around a shared vision and actions to achieve safety for people that use, visit or work in assets developed by Lend Lease.
Set mandatory standards for the safety and quality of the built environments that we deliver by developing minimum safety requirements that prescribe physical and operational safety standards supported by localised guidelines on how to comply with those requirements.
Manage our designs, procurement and construction so that these standards are integrated in our assets from inception to completion and maintained in use.
Ensure transparency through a safety reporting system providing a summary of potential risks and poor safety performance so as to allow early intervention.
Provide leadership and governance through national and local Safety Leadership Teams.
Develop a safety education curriculum with training modules for employees, business partners and contractors to help ensure each employee, partner and stakeholder aligns with the values and behaviour.
Be advocates and use our influence to improve safety wherever we have a presence.
